PINKO - METAVERSE (EN)



PINKO explores the metaverse with the launch of its NFT collection "Meta Love Bag".

In an era where the boundaries between the physical and digital are broken, PINKO chooses to embrace its values by deploying Web3: a collective evolution of experiences between brands, creators and consumers.


The protagonist of the first "drop" is a metaphysical version of the "Love Bag", Pinko's iconic accessory, which will be transformed by exploring artistic variations. For example, there will be ten unique pieces of art that can be purchased to gain an important role in the digital community that PINKO will build around its presence in the metaverse.


"For a long time we have been studying the possibility of taking our first step towards the goal" explains Pietro Negra CEO of PINKO "it is clear that the industry is in a phase of great fermentation and experimentation. There are no business best practices to apply. For this reason, we decided to give a digital voice to our brand's mission: 'Inspire Women to Play Bold', and the best metaverse environment can guarantee us the opportunity to expand our vision of engagement for our consumers."


The first unveiling of the project took place at Viva Technology 2022, the annual technology event that took place at the Paris expo Porte de Versailles, from 15 to 18 June.


"Meta Love Bag" was created in collaboration with Mirror, a digital agency at the forefront of creating assets and experiences in the field of Web 3.0. During the fair, PINKO exhibited the first 3 artworks of the collection created by Mirror's 3D artist Umberto Daina.


With its stand Mirror presented a real concept shop at Viva Technology interactive. Hereby the traditional shopping experience is mixed with the digital one. PINKO is open to experimentation in the fields of NFT and Metaverse and with Mirror designs experiences that enrich the purchase of a physical product with a new dimension. NFTs thus open the doors to new virtual worlds for the customer, for example access to communities, exclusive parties, digital and live events and other future plans. PINKO "Love Birds" is thus moving away from the purely speculative aspect to offer new possibilities and numerous benefits to its owners.


The brand's goal is to create a first and original ecosystem, a meta-commerce where it will be possible to access the NFT collections, and finally, a new and interconnected PINKO community will be developed.
