PINKO LAUNCHES AN EXCLUSIVE PARNERSHIP WITH MAGLIDEE
Pinko strongly believes in the value of collaboration and in the importance of investing in projects benefiting the community, at both a social and environmental level.
In keeping with this vision, Pinko is happy to announce a special collaboration with a unique organisation, combining creativity, craftsmanship and social redemption.
The brand signed up a partnership with Maglidee, a project born in Parma in 2014 thanks to the commitment of Cooperativa Sociale Fiorente and the support of Fondazione Cariparma.
Maglidee is a creative factory focused on the ancient art of knitwear, where disadvantaged women have the chance to build a new future for themselves by challenging their creativity and learning to manufacture knitted ready-to-wear and accessories pieces destined for sale.
In particular, Oxana, Paola and Olga, three women involved in the Maglidee project, created a limited edition capsule collection of 100 pieces, which will be available in exclusivity at Pinko online store starting from the last week of May. The style, a modern crewneck with hyper feminin sleeves, is handcrafted from eco-friendly wool and unveils an artistic embroidery showing the silhouettes of female faces. The 100 numbered sweaters will be available in a color pallette, including hazel brown, off white and black.
The partnership between Pinko and Maglidee will continue with the introduction in the Pinko Fall/Winter 2020 collection of three knitted styles developed in the Parma-based laboratory. The designs, including a V-neck, a turtleneck and a ring neck, worked in gray, black and purple, respectively, are decorated with the same precious embroideries of female faces' silhouettes in contrasting colors of beige, emerald green and yellow.
Mixing creativity, craftsmanship and social redemption, Pinko supports another project showing how the fashion industry can have a positive impact and trigger a positive cycle with a direct impact on people's life.
